Vredestein tyres for Fendt Gen7 tractors

Agricultural machinery manufacturer AGCO has chosen the Vredestein VF Traxion Optimall as original equipment for its new range of Fendt 700 Gen7 tractors. Effective immediately, tractor buyers can order the Fendt Vario 720, 722, 724, 726 and 728 with the Traxion Optimall in the rear wheel size VF 710/70 R 42 and front wheel size VF 600/70 R 30. Additional sizes will be offered in the near future, fulfilling growing customer demand for Vredestein Traxion tyres on Fendt tractors.

“Our latest OE deal with AGCO follows excellent feedback we have received from farmers and agricultural contractors who appreciate the VF Traxion Optimal range of qualities; most notably its soil preservation and traction in the field, as well as its long lifespan and excellent comfort levels on the road,” comments Guido Boerkamp, director off-highway Tyres Europe at Apollo Tyres.

The Vredestein Traxion features a characteristic curved lug shape with more rubber in the middle of the profile to ensure optimal comfort and high wear resistance. Towards the shoulders of the tyre, the lugs diverge to provide additional traction and excellent self-cleaning capabilities in the field. The application of Vredestein’s unique F+ technology for its VF (Very High Flexion) tyres ensures that even during heavy traction work, the tyres can be operated at low pressure.

Thanks to continuous development and extension of the VF tyre range, the Vredestein brand now offers 27 tyre sizes for tractors between 100 and 450 HP. Apollo Tyres states that it will “continue to strengthen its partnership with Fendt” and support the brand’s “expanding range of tractors” over the coming years.
