Joint EICMA presence for Dunlop & Avon

This year will be the first time the Dunlop and Avon brands share exhibition space at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, following The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s acquisition of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in 2021. While Dunlop is scheduled to “showcase its strongest range yet,” Avon will “focus on key designs” with a range that “still offers” its “most popular products” alongside the Dunlop portfolio.

Dunlop will showcase its full Trail line-up at EICMA, including the newest addition to this range, Trailmax Raid. Released in March, Trailmax Raid is Dunlop’s first 50/50 on/off-road tyre. It will sit alongside its counterparts Trailmax Meridian, Trailmax Mission and Trailmax Mixtour at the show.

The brand will have the chance to celebrate one of the “most successful motocross seasons ever” with its clean sweep of all AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross titles since 2010 and FIM Motocross World Championship and Motocross of Nations race wins. The new soft-mid Geomax MX34 will feature as part of Dunlop’s wider motocross and off-road racing tyre range.

Into 2024, Dunlop will confirm its commitment to the highest levels of motorcycle racing through its partnerships with both the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) and FIM Motocross World Championship and announcing news that it will be the title sponsor and exclusive tyre supplier to all classes of the Campionato Italiano Velocità (CIV) from 2024 for three years.

Avon’s selection of motorcycle products boasts a range covering hypersport to custom tyres, including the Roadrider MKII, Speedmaster MKII, TrekRider and 3D Supersport. The Avon range also includes the popular Cobra Chrome, which is designed for the power cruiser, touring, and custom motorcycle market.

Exciting plans
