Hankook planning Romanian subsidiary

According to local media, Hankook Tire & Technology is gearing up to establish its own subsidiary in Romania in order to end its reliance upon third-party distributors in this market.

Business site Profit.ro claims a representative of the tyre maker told it that in line with its ongoing expansion of local subsidiaries in recent years, Hankook Tire & Technology is now considering plans to further increase the number of branches it operates in Europe. Profit.ro implies that Romania is one location on Hankook’s list.
