Delphi launches Training Prospectus 2.0
Delphi has released a comprehensive new 66-page training prospectus, showcasing the wealth of solutions now available to the UK aftermarket.
Delphi’s ‘blended learning’ ethos originated to make it as easy as possible for garages to access learning materials, whilst also taking account of the fact that individuals prefer to absorb information in different ways.
What this means in practice, is a proven combination of onsite training, delivered at the company’s state-of-the-art training centre in Warwick, is highlighted alongside the rapidly growing online library of modules. The Delphi Academy e-learning suite covers everything from fundamentals like braking systems to emerging technologies like EV and ADAS.
The prospectus reminds readers that the content has been developed using Delphi’s knowledge and insight, gained as a leading global automotive parts and systems OEM. High quality courses have been created using in-house product engineers and ‘time served’ technical training specialists.
“We fully embrace the blended training approach as it’s proven to improve knowledge retention,” said Luke Garratt, UK and Nordics Technical Services Manager at Delphi. “We believe Delphi offers the most advanced and comprehensive learning experience available through online videos, webinars, interactive simulations, workshop courses and more.
“Our case studies show that continuous learning not only helps technicians stay motivated, it can also enhance job satisfaction, leading to higher rates of productivity and staff retention.”
Delphi’s commitment to future technology is readily apparent. Detailed options are given for popular courses on Hybrid and Electric vehicles, running from Level 1 right through to Level 4, whilst courses on hydrogen appear for the first time too. IMI Accreditation and Delphi TechSafe continuous professional development (CPD) solutions are highlighted, encouraging garages to pursue these industry-recognised qualifications and prove the expertise needed to work safely with high-voltage electrical systems.
Information is included on Delphi’s BlueTech diagnostics platform, as well as the fast-growing Masters of Motion hub, which launched at the start of the year to offer garages free ‘How To’ videos and job-useful information.
