Continental adds to agri, material handling lines

Continental has expanded its agricultural and material handling ranges with new sizes for its TractorMaster and CompactMaster AG/EM product lines. Two further sizes are available now and a third arrives soon.

The Continental TractorMaster range grows with the addition of a size 600/70R34 fitment. Continental points out that this new tyre not only complements the existing range but can also be used as a front tyre in combination with other specific sizes. Continental will also launch the TractorMaster 620/70R42 as a rear tyre option in the near future.

CompactMaster now comes in size 500/70R24 to complement the existing 460/70R24 dimension, providing more options for telehandlers in different operating conditions. Continental offers two versions, the CompactMaster AG for agricultural applications such as field operations and the CompactMaster EM for hard-surface logistics tasks. “With the size 500, we are meeting the demand from our customers as well as responding to the trend toward larger vehicles and diverse operational requirements,” says Ivonne Bierwirth, head of Continental’s Agricultural Tires business field.

Nine product lines for agricultural machinery have joined the Continental line-up in recent years, more than 110 articles in total. “With our portfolio out of our plant in Portugal, we are looking for products that address current trends and challenges within the industry to support efficient agricultural work,” comments Bierwirth. “Farmers will benefit from our tailor-made selection suitable for diverse conditions.”
