Autogem’s double NTDA award win
Autogem has paid tribute to its customers, suppliers and “irreplaceable team” after securing a double success at the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) awards – including the Aftermarket Equipment Supplier of the Year title for a third successive year. Autogem also won the Staff Training & Development Initiative of the Year for its Under Pressure ’23 nationwide TPMS competition.
Managing director Prashant Chopra said: “I couldn’t be prouder of the team for their work in making these awards possible. To win the supplier of the year category for three years on the trot is a huge achievement, which was then enhanced by our training award win.
“None of it is possible without an understanding of our customers and partners’ needs and through close collaboration with them. These relationships are what allows us to provide the solutions we offer. We’re also blessed with an irreplaceable team of professionals who all care passionately about every aspect of the business. They are Autogem’s driving force and these awards are for them.”
Autogem’s general manager Hiten Nagar was on the Stadium MK stage to collect the awards with the rest of the Autogem team and Prashant reserved praise for his guidance and leadership over more than two decades with the company.
“It was great to see Hiten smiling up there, as he embodies what we’re all about. He’s been with us for 23 years where he’s spent many years unpacking containers and packaging products by my side. To now have him next to me – with the rest of the team – collecting awards together is a dream come true.”
Prashant Chopra added: “We’ve been providing training on TPMS since 2007 and its an area of the business we’re extremely passionate about. We always endeavour to develop people and raise standards in the automotive industry, both internally and externally.
“Under Pressure ’23 was one of our most ambitious training projects of all, so to be commended for it in such a way is so rewarding. Again, it is testament to a great deal of collective hard work and I couldn’t be prouder of the entire team for bringing the concept to life.”
