Each year, between 20 and 40 per cent of the company’s production is exported around the world. Current key markets include the USA, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Nepal. But of course, European and other export markets are of interest too.
Speaking to Tyres & Accessories, managing director, Sendil Kumaran commented: “As a long-term player in this industry and one of the leading brands in India, we wish to draw attention to our high-value coefficient ‘Royal’ brand of Solid Resilient Tyres manufactured near Chennai, South India.
“We have a technologically superior range of Solid Tyres that are on par with the best brands in industry, and yet wholly affordable. We are not a major producer, but we have a reputation of producing heavy-duty and extreme duty solid resilient tyres for intensive and demanding applications.
“We specialize in manufacturing Solid Tyres that are used in a wide range of industrial applications. Our products are designed and structured in a manner so as to brave the odds of harsh and abusive industrial and outdoor environments.”
Examples include: heat resistance, for use in high-temperature areas like metallurgical industries where the tyres have to withstand very high temperatures; non-marking, for pollution-free areas such as in food/ electronics industries where tyre marks and carbon/rubber residues are a strict no; oil resistance, for use in petrochemical operations where there can be hydrocarbon spillage; and anti-static/flame retardant, for hazardous and explosive areas such as mines where the tyres have to be designed to prevent any kind of explosions.
