Nordman now a standalone Nokian Tyres brand
Nokian Tyres is relaunching its Nordman product family as a standalone tyre brand aimed at “value-driven consumers.” Nordman will support the company’s main Nokian Tyres brand.
Introducing its new two-brand portfolio, Nokian Tyres says each will have its own identity. Nokian Tyres products will feature “the latest and most advanced tyre technology,” while the Nordman product family is “made of proven technology.” With both, the company aims to “serve varying consumer needs and help simplify consumers’ tyre choices.”
“Nordman strengthens Nokian Tyres offering for different consumer groups and for our B2B customers. We will be able to serve our Nordic customers with the most comprehensive product portfolio on the market and support growth in North America,” says Anna Hyvönen, Nokian Tyres executive vice-president for Passenger Car Tyres and Vianor.
Nokian Tyres first launched the Nordman product family in 2004. The relaunched brand comes with a new logo and visual design, including newly designed tyre sidewalls and a fresh slogan: Nordman – Tires for your direction.
Winter products arriving first
The studded Nordman North 9 and Nordman North 9 SUV winter tyres are the first products under the relaunched brand. They will be available for purchase at Nokian Tyres’ retail partners throughout the Nordics, United States and Canada this autumn. The product portfolio is expanding gradually to cover winter, summer, all-weather, and all-season categories for wide market coverage.
