Magna Tyres launches M-Truck range

Netherlands-based Magna Tyres has introduced the M-Truck range, which is specifically designed for use in “trucking, haulage, tanker and trailer applications” and “steer, drive, all position and trailer” fitments across “long haul, regional and construction operations”.
According to the company, the M-Truck tread pattern “guarantees impressive field and road traction whilst also effectively minimising vibration when being operated at road speed”. It is also said to offer “high grip on all types of road surfaces through first class self-cleaning capabilities”.
The Magna M-Truck range is currently available in Eighteen pattern options: RG10 – RG11 – RG20 – RG30 – RG31 – CO10 – C020 and CO30.
For Steer Axle applications the RG10 is an All-Position Radial tyre for Regional applications which is specifically produced with special low emission technology to incorporate overall lower fuel consumption along with a unique tread pattern developed specially for Mid to Long range Highway operations. The Magna RG10 is currently available in three size options from 295/80R22.5 to 315/80R22.5
The Magna RG11 is an all position tyre incorporating a solid shoulder arrangement, for “excellent longevity, outstanding traction on all road surfaces and an advanced tread compound due to high scrub resistance”.
The Magna CO30 is described as a “special steer/trailer axle extra deep grooved tread pattern for short to mid hauling applications that guarantees a specially designed compound that effectively ensures improved tear-resistance”.
The Magna M-Truck range offers two drive axle patterns, the RG20 and CO20. The RG20 all-position tyre for regional operations is reportedly capable of “effectively handling any driving conditions through a very strong tyre compound that guarantees improved all-round performance”. It is currently available in two size options.
The CO20 is an on/off road pattern “incorporating impressive traction and even wear alongside a strengthened casing construction for good retreading”. The CO20 is available in two sizes.
Finally, the Magna M-Truck presents the RG30 and RG31 Trailer Axle patterns. The RG30 reportedly provides mileage return and includes an advanced heat build-up-reducing rubber compound tread polymer to effectively increase rolling resistance and fuel efficiency. Plus, an optimised groove pattern design gives further improved grip on wet surfaces. The RG30 is available in three sizes from 215/75R17.5 to 285/70R19.5.
Meanwhile, the RG 31 is said to bear “a stronger sidewall and bead design” for “added protection against accidental damage and improved carrying capacity alongside a special groove arrangement for improved drainage capabilities.” The RG31 is available in size 385/65R22.5.
