Linglong appoints Wolf Fuder as head of marketing Europe
Linglong became the first Chinese tyremaker to start producing tyres in Europe when it opened the doors to its Serbia facility in February. Since then, the company has continued to expand its European operations and most recently appointed Wolf Fuder as Head of Marketing Europe based within the Linglong Germany GmbH operation.
Within his new role, Fuder is responsible for all marketing activities in Europe. Fuder, who has been responsible for marketing at Kumho Tire Europe for the past 17 years, officially started in the new role on 1 September.
Commenting on his move to Linglong, Wolf Fuder, said: “Linglong is one of the leading tyre manufacturers worldwide and has major growth targets, particularly in Europe. Numerous original equipment releases from renowned premium manufacturers such as Volkswagen and Audi prove the high product quality of the tyres today.
“With the opening of the first tyre plant in Europe, which is one of the largest and most modern in the world, Linglong underlines the extraordinary importance of Europe for the group. I am pleased to take on marketing responsibility across Europe at Linglong Germany GmbH and to continue to successfully develop the Linglong brand together with my European and Chinese colleagues over the next few years.”
