Almost 800 Fruehauf trailers recalled due to Saf-Holland TPMS issue

Fruehauf Inc. (Fruehauf) is recalling certain 2025 Composite trailers equipped with the Tire Pilot Plus tyre pressure regulation systems (TPRS) in the USA. According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) documentation 786 trailers are affected and all eight tyres on affected trailers “may experience a loss of tyre pressure while driving faster than 45 mph.”

The affected Tire Pilot Plus – Electronic Regulator Control systems were manufactured by Saf-Holland. The Saf-Holland group describes itself as “one of the leading international manufacturers of chassis-related assemblies and components for trailers, trucks and buses”.
