TireHub plans for future growth
TireHub is now five years old and says it is looking forward to future growth. The US-based national tyre distributor, which was co-founded by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Bridgestone Americas Inc., now operates 80 TireHub Logistics Centers (TLCs), having added or relocated 12 TLCs in the last 18 months. More will join the network in the coming months, and TireHub also plans to open its first regional distribution centre later this year.
“Every new facility we open demonstrates our commitment and ability to serve dealers and retailers across the United States,” says Ted Becker, chief executive officer of TireHub. “We are focused on providing more premium Goodyear and Bridgestone products to more markets and customers across the United States. TireHub’s growth trajectory remains strong despite industry and market challenges.”
Upon reaching its fifth anniversary, TireHub comments that a “customer-centric strategy” continues to propel it forward, with an expansion in product portfolio, strengthened delivery capabilities and the development of best-in-class technology. The tyre distributor’s stated focus is on providing dealers with “premium products, industry-leading service and differentiated solutions.”
Ted Becker says he is seeing positive returns on investments made across “all aspects” of the TireHub business. “I truly believe it’s because our customers see how passionate we are about helping them grow. Since day one, TireHub has always operated with their business in mind. We will never stop evolving to meet their needs and are deeply appreciative of their support and loyalty.”
Dedicated Hubbers
TireHub attributes its customer focus to its own corporate culture. It credits Hubbers, as the tyre distributor calls its employees, with being “unwavering in pursuit of the company’s vision to transform the industry.” TireHub adds that across the USA, over 1,600 Hubbers “embody the company’s values of being approachable, adventurous, relentless and speedy as they prepare for TireHub’s next phase of growth.”
“Along with the support of our shareholders, the success we have experienced is due to the hard work and dedication of our Hubbers,” Becker continues. “Our first five years have been momentous, and TireHub isn’t slowing down anytime soon. We look forward to more growth in the months and years ahead.”
