Polaris Factory Racing Brazil fits Atturo Trail Blade SXS tyres

Polaris Factory Racing Brazil’s Torrez Azevedo Rally Team will equip its vehicles with Atturo Trail Blade X/T SXS tyres in a new partnership for the brand, which specialises in 4×4 tyres for on and off-road use. The team is preparing for the 3,800km Rally dos Sertões that travels across the country from Petrolina to Prea in eight days. The team will field six Polaris Pro R UTVs in the rally, all rolling on the Atturo Trail Blade X/T SXS Tires in sizes 30×10.00R15 and 32×10.00R15, depending on the stage.

Jean Azevedo, an accomplished rally racer in Motorcycles and Cars in Brazil and Dakar over the last three decades, has ventured into the UTV Class this year through a partnership with the Torres family and the support of Polaris Factory Racing Brazil. The team was developed in collaboration with Polaris Brazil to showcase the competitiveness and durability of the Pro R in endurance rally racing. He talked about the choice of the steel-belted construction and race-proven design of the Atturo tyre: “Atturo Tires surprised us in the tests and during the Jalapão Rally, in which we had an incredible performance. The products are very resistant, with qualities that are essential to overcome all the demands of the Sertões Rally. We are very happy to have this partnership.”

The Rally dos Sertões is in its 30th year of competition and traverses some of Brazil’s most scenic but unforgiving terrain as competitors travel from city to city across the country. This year’s rally is expected to draw nearly 200 racers across all classes and a caravan of 2,000+ people to support the teams. Since 2008 it is also one of the official stages of the International Automobile Federation’s World Cross-Country Championship. This year’s rally runs from 11-19  August.

Atturo is bringing the same race-proven badge to the Trail Blade SXS lineup by partnering with Polaris Factory Racing Brazil.
