New Accelera drifting tyre launched

Indonesian tyre manufacturer, Elang Perdana (EP Tyres) has released the 651 Pro under its Accelera brand.
Specially developed for professional drifting, the new tyre reportedly offers “High gripping power” to “provide the maximum potential of the car and engine so that the driver can perform at their best, for example, with higher entry speeds and more exciting tandems.”
Accelera collaborated with professional drifter, Akbar Rais, to develop the latest Accelera tyre for drifting. As a result, the Accelera 651 Pro is said to have successfully demonstrated its performance after several tests and international competition events when driven by Akbar Rais.
According to the company, the Accelera 651 Pro features achieves its high grip levels via special compound. The tyre also offers Treadwear 200 to comply with international drifting regulations.
