MXMH completes Maxxis Maxxcross tyre range
Maxxis reports that its Maxxcross range is now complete following the addition of the MXMH rear tyre. The off-road motorbike tyre range includes the MXST+ (mid-soft terrain), the MXSM (sand and mud), and now the MXMH (hard and loose over hard).
According to the company, MXMH is designed to perform on intermediate and hard terrain and to pair with the MX-ST+ front for the ultimate championship-winning pairing, with officials suggesting “this tyre used with Riga Gomme Mousses will provide the best track results”.
The MXMH features a new tread compound and pattern design for “extreme predictability straight-line acceleration and braking zones, coupled with an improved construction providing a consistent, compliant feel under cornering, acceleration and braking, giving racers the confidence to charge into any corner”.
All this comes by virtue of: Centre blocks and side blocks wedded together with a new rubber compound; and Reinforced sidewall to support the v-shaped half-shoulder knobs for cornering control.
MXMH follows suit of the MXSM and is available as a rear in 100/90-19 and 110/90-19.
