Michelin expands Pilot aviation tyre line

Two new sizes have joined the Michelin Pilot tyre line. Designed to be the “best tyre money can buy for general aviation aircraft,” the Michelin Pilot high-performance cross-ply tyre offers the following additional sizes for the general aviation market:

• 6.00-6 6PR 160MPH P/N 025-316-0
• 6.00-6 8PR 160 MPH P/N 025-317-1
• 18×5.5 8PR 160MPH P/N 025-630-0
• 18×5.5 10PR 190MPH P/N 026-631-0

Utilising the latest casing technology, Michelin Pilot tyres provide an “exceptional level of both strength and durability.” Its tubeless design also reduces overall wheel weight, helps eliminate tyre creep on the wheel, and can be used with tube-on-tube type rims.
