Boeing, Michelin extend global distribution arrangement
Michelin North America, Inc. and Boeing have signed a renewal of the two parties’ authorised distribution agreement, extending the current agreement through December 2028. The agreement reaffirms Boeing Distribution as a global distributor for Michelin’s full line of cross-ply and radial aviation tyres, as well as tubes for the business, commercial, regional, military and general aviation markets.
“This new agreement affirms our commitment to a strong partnership with Boeing Distribution,” says M. Scott Murray, vice-president of aircraft tyre sales, Michelin North America, Inc. “It will allow us to continue utilising their global parts distribution network for aviation customers around the globe.”
Boeing has supported business and general aviation for nearly a century, delivering parts, chemicals and supplies to general aviation businesses.
“The continuation of our partnership with Michelin enables us to leverage our robust product portfolio to provide global material availability, product repair services and comprehensive solutions for our customers,” comments Travis Sullivan, vice-president and general manager of Boeing Distribution Services.
The agreement was signed at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 on 26 July and takes effect immediately.
