Lodge Tyres Fakenham hosts fun day
Lodge Tyres staff, valued customers, and many local residents of Fakenham in North Norfolk recently enjoyed a fun day at the centre in Hempton Road in the town. The event, which was supported by Lodge key supply partners, Bridgestone UK and Micheldever Tyres, saw the usually busy garage turned into a mini theme park for the day.
The purpose of the festivities was for Lodge to thank its many trade and retail customers as well as the community at large. Special mention must be made of Stuart Sharpe, who is about to clock up 50 years of working at the Hempton Road site.
The team, led by manager Andy Frost continues to offer all makes and sizes of tyres from car, van, 4×4, along with specialist sales support from Richard Foster on Agri & earthmover. Additionally, all the usual autocentre garage services including MOT, mechanical and aircon are available on-site.
On the day, the set-up team arrived early providing a bouncy castle for the younger children, a batak machine for those claiming to have exceptional hand-eye co-ordination, an electric remote-controlled car racetrack in the car park for those Top Gear fanatics, and various other attractions offering prizes and merchandise to those taking part. Everyone left smiling and with some memento or other to remember the day.
The day will certainly be remembered by Sharon Brierley who won the cost of her tyre purchases back in the registered prize draw!
All guests were well catered for by Geoffrey Smith with his locally produced farm fresh products including venison burgers which, according to those present, will long be remembered as super tasty.
