Ceat & Marangoni begin India retreading partnership
Marangoni S.p.A. and Ceat Limited have entered into a strategic partnership to provide tyre retreading solutions in the Indian market. By combining Ceat’s tyre casings with Marangoni’s retreading technology, the two firms intend to provide customers with “an optimum solution that offers extended tyre life, superior performance, and cost-effectiveness.” Ceat and Marangoni also view the partnership as a means of expanding their franchisee networks.
“Marangoni is looking forward to join forces with Ceat in order to propose a premium retread to Indian customers starting from the high quality CEAT tyre (casing) and Marangoni’s Ringtread technology,” says Matthias Leppert, chief operating officer of the Marangoni Group. “This will be an important step to improve the competitiveness of Indian transport companies. Based on this experience, Ceat and Marangoni intend to explore common opportunities in other markets too.”

A combination of two experts
Within India, Marangoni has established a network of franchisees in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh. These locations will soon be joined by operations in the National Capital Region and Rajasthan.
