Anton Tereshin heading Pirelli in Russia
Following the return of Aimone di Savoia Aosta to Italy after almost three decades in Russia, Pirelli has named Anton Tereshin general director of its Pirelli Tyre Russia subsidiary. Tereshin joined Pirelli in 2015 and has held several positions with the tyre maker, most recently chief financial officer of the Russia & CIS business.
Prince Aimone, the sixth Duke of Aosta, came into the Pirelli fold in 2000 when he joined Pirelli Cables as head of the Russia-based office for the Russian, Baltic and Bulgarian markets. According to Pirelli, he was appointed general director of Pirelli Tyre Russia in 2003 and additionally took on responsibility for the Middle East and India markets in 2011. The following year, within the Russia & Nordics Region, he took the role of market manager for Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway and Finland). In 2013 he became chief executive officer of the Russian and Nordics Region, in which, since 2020, Middle East Africa and India markets are consolidated.
Since returning to Italy, Aimone di Savoia Aosta has served as Pirelli’s senior vice president Institutional Affairs, an office he has held since January 2023.
