Stephen Redfern named PCL’s Head of Engineering & Product Development
PCL has appointed Stephen Redfern its Head of Engineering and Product Development, and the pneumatic expert states that after undergoing an in-depth induction at its Sheffield-based HQ, Redfern is “ready to inject a progressive new energy to the company.” Reporting to Operations Director Dean Battersby, Redfern is responsible for leading and managing PCL’s engineers in the delivery of strategic aims, products, and services.
“I will be updating processes and looking at product innovation and speed to market across the entire portfolio; bringing all products up to date with new technologies and researching future technology and market trends,” says Stephen Redfern. “My goal is to drive innovation forward to further establish PCL as the technology leader in this industry.”
Placing end users at development forefront
PCL introduces its new Head of Engineering and Product Development as a senior leader with an excellent track record in product development and design for manufacture at firms such as Dyson, Mamas and Papas and Thetford Ltd., The company adds that Redfern’s “forward-thinking approach and technical capability is set to bring enormous benefit to PCL’s partners and customers,” while his focus on progressive project management “always places the end user at the forefront of the development process.”
