Grupo Soledad and Kraiburg expand Insa Turbo cooperation

Grupo Soledad-member Insa Turbo reports that Kraiburg has been able to significantly expand its share in the Spanish retreading material market. Grupo Soledad is one of the key players in the Spanish market, with its distribution network totalling more than 100 of its own shops and a franchise network with 1,000 points of sale in Spain and Portugal. And what’s more, the two plan to cooperate more closely in future.

At the end of April, Grupo Soledad hosted the annual sales meeting of Kraiburg Austria. While the European sales team enjoyed holding their first convention in-person since 2019, Kraiburg’s management took the opportunity to carry out important strategic meetings at the Soledad headquarters in Elche.

The agenda of the convention included the presentations of the Soledad group to “underline the strategic importance of this partner to the entire Kraiburg team”. In joint meetings Kraiburg and Grupo Soledad “reviewed the previously agreed roadmap, discussed new plans together and decided to increase the level of cooperation on common goals in precure and hotcure retreading.”

After the meetings, the Kraiburg team visited the Insa Turbo facilities in Aspe, which are not limited to the truck tyre retreading activities, but also include a 4×4 and passenger car tyre retreading as well as a recycling line. Covering a total of 250,000 square meters, Insa Turbo is said to be the largest retreading company premises in Europe – with further expansion area available.

“We have been able to share with the entire Kraiburg sales team the satisfaction of having a reliable partner who has the same quality philosophy as Kraiburg when it comes to truck tyre retreading,” explained Stefan Mayrhofer, general manager of Kraiburg Austria, adding: “We see a lot of potential in continuously developing our partnership with Kraiburg, especially regarding its proven and undoubted expertise in compounding and design development”, summarized Salvador Perez Lucena, commercial director of Insa Turbo.
