VW chooses Goodyear as ID. Buzz supplier.

Goodyear has come on board as an original equipment tyre supplier to the Volkswagen ID. Buzz and transport version ID. Buzz Cargo. VW operations in regional and national markets have the option of offering customers tyres from the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, UltraGrip Performance+ or Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 ranges as standard.

VW has selected the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 summer tyre and Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 winter tyre in two dimensions, 235/60R18 and 255/55R18. Goodyear is supplying the UltraGrip Performance+ all-season tyre in four dimensions, 235/60R18, 255/55R18, 235/50R20 and 265/45R20.

As an EV, we have put extra consideration into minimising rolling resistance, and with electrification being a key part of Goodyear’s strategy, we have a wide range of tyres suited to the demands and performance of electric cars.”
