Vipal Europe now responsible for entire Africa region
A strategic meeting in Valencia, Spain afforded Vipal Europe the opportunity to review the year that’s been. Amongst the significant changes to occur in recent times is the inclusion of the entire African territory within the Vipal Europe remit. This follows the addition of the North Africa and Middle East regions to the Vipal Europe operation in 2021.
Fabricio Nedeff, commercial manager at Vipal, considers bringing all of Africa into the fold a positive development as the company has a deep knowledge of these markets and sees potential for growth and expansion of commercial relations with new customers in African countries. “During the meeting, we also addressed strategies to expand the company’s participation in the markets for retreading and repairing tyres in the main African markets, always offering the best solutions from our broad portfolio of products, machinery and services,” comments Nedeff.
Actions planned for anniversary year
The meeting in Valencia was attended by representatives from Vipal Europe’s technical, commercial, administrative, financial, customer service and logistics teams. Those present included Gilson Dugno, Vipal’s international business commercial manager, as well as Thomas Giermann, who recently joined the commercial team as sales representative in the DACH region, which covers Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Vipal celebrates the 50th anniversary of its own production in 2023, and Frederico Schmidt, general manager of Vipal in Europe, says the company has “planned several actions” for the year during the meeting in Valencia. “Over the three days of the meeting, it was possible to review the numbers from the previous period, in addition to our challenges for 2023,” shares Schmidt. Shedding light on topics discussed, he says: “In addition to training and strengthening our CRM system to further improve our services to customers and we reviewed some strategies to consolidate the Vipal brand in the market.”
