TireHub becomes Mickey Thompson tyre and wheel distributor
TireHub, the US national tyre distributor co-founded by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) and Bridgestone Americas Inc. (Bridgestone), started selling Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels as an authorized national distributor on 1 May. The Mickey Thompson brand specialises in off-road orientated 4×4 products and came to Goodyear in the last couple of years as a result of the company’s acquisition of Cooper.
Legally, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is a wholly owned subsidiary of Goodyear and remains independently operated since its founding in 1963. In 2022, TireHub expanded its brand portfolio to include Cooper and Starfire tyres following Goodyear’s acquisition and integration of the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in 2021.
“TireHub is proud to elevate our robust product offerings with the addition of Mickey Thompson tyres,” said TireHub CEO Ted Becker. “As we support our customers and enable their continued success, increasing the breadth and depth of our product portfolio is a key step. We understand what our customers need, and this addition helps us exceed their expectations.”
Customers now have the option to sign on to the Mickey Thompson Marketing Alliance (MTMA) program with TireHub as their primary or secondary distributor moving forward.
