Guangrao tyre show combines offline and online formats with Russia, Africa and Middle East focus

The 13th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition (ChinaGRTAE 2023), will be officially unveiled in a few days. On 8 May, a week before the start of the exhibition, the government of Dongying, the city to which Guangrao County belongs, held a press conference on the overall situation relating to the exhibition. At the time, the organisers said that between 15-17 May at least 20,000 professional visitors will participate in the exhibition, and more than 800 foreign businessmen would visit. Tyrepress has China learned that the theme of this exhibition is “Gathering the power of the industrial chain; Building a new development pattern”. In terms of format, ChinaGRTAE 2023 will be mainly offline and supplemented by online.

Regarding offline, the organisers set up six exhibition areas in the Guangrao International Expo Centre, focusing on tyres, wheels, rubber machinery, raw and auxiliary materials, auto maintenance and auto parts. In 2023, the Guangrao tyre exhibition will add an e-commerce exhibition area, bringing together e-commerce companies such as Alibaba, JD.com, and eBay. The organisers stated at the press conference that all 750 booths (including 254 special booths) had been recruited, and well-known tyre manufacturers such as Goodyear, Continental, and Dunlop will all appear at the ChinaGRTAE 2023.

On the online side, the organisers of the Guangrao tyre exhibition will set up an online display and live broadcast platform through its website. More than 800 companies are connected to the online exhibition.

It is worth noting that the ChinaGRTAE 2023 will include a focus on the Russian market. It is reported that important overseas merchant groups from 7 regions will participate in the exhibition, including Russia, Nigeria and the Middle East (Dubai). At the same time, the Guangrao tyre exhibition will also hold a tyre brand overseas promotion campaign during the exhibition – specifically, a Russia special session. Five companies, Doublestar, Huasheng, Jinyu, Fangxing, and Zhengyu Wheel, will conduct on-site promotions. Eight Shandong enterprises and more than 30 Russian enterprises and buyers will conduct “one-on-one” matchmaking negotiations.

The Guangrao tyre exhibition will hold eight forums during the exhibition. According to the sponsor, “the eight high-level forums cover areas such as city promotion, industrial development, foreign trade, talent recruitment, and technological innovation”. Tyrepress China noticed that representatives from offices in China of many countries would participate in the concurrent forum. Officials from Myanmar, El Salvador, Thailand, Pakistan and Iran in China and personnel from the German Customs Representative Office in China will participate in multiple forums at the ChinaGRTAE 2023 and deliver keynote speeches.

In addition, the concurrent forum of the Guangrao tyre exhibition will discuss the development direction of China’s tyre industry. As one of China’s few large-scale tyre exhibitions, the Guangrao tyre exhibition has held ten offline and two online exhibitions. This year is the first offline physical exhibition of the Guangrao tyre exhibition after 2019.
