From Guangrao to the world
2023 Guangrao Tyre Exhibition achieved outstanding results
On May 17, 2023, the three-day 13th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition (ChinaGRTAE 2023) ended, with Chinese language Tyrepress sister site, Tyrepress China in attendance. An organiser press conference on the last day of the show claimed that ChinaGRTAE 2023 had “achieved outstanding results”. According to preliminary statistics, more than 830 trade intentions, agreements, and contracts were reached on May 15th and 16th, exceeding 21.9 billion yuan. One special event hosted by the exhibition achieved more than 330 “one-to-one” negotiations, reaching an intention amount of 2.3 billion yuan.
One of the characteristics of ChinaGRTAE 2023 is that the enthusiasm of enterprises to participate in the exhibition is high. Statistics from the organisers show that there are 750 offline and 816 online exhibitors in this exhibition.
Sailun and Doublestar, two of the largest tyre manufacturers exhibiting, offered eye-catching product displays from strong booth locations. Sailun displayed its flagship product, “liquid gold” tyres, at the venue. Doublestar showed the “Addpower”, a “tyre” that uses almost no rubber and claims to require no inflation, no hub, no need to remove the wheel, and a service life of up to 15 years. It is reported that the mechanical wheels of this product are made of steel, and the tread is mainly made of polyurethane material.
Well-known tyre companies with headquarters in Dongying and Weifang, such as Haohua, Yuelong, Huasheng, Jinyu, Hengfeng, Yongsheng, Fangxing, and Wanda Boto, all made their appearance at the 2023 Guangrao tyre exhibition. In addition, ChinaGRTAE 2023 presents the characteristics of diversity, such as Drivermaster, Rich Lion, and Starstone, all displaying their superior products. Durun, Terceld, Yuanfeng Rubber and Huger also appeared in this exhibition with a new look.
In addition to tire companies, Tyrepress China also observed that upstream and downstream enterprises in the tire industry, such as Snton and Meikawheel, also appeared at the 2023 Guangrao tyre exhibition.
The enthusiasm for participating in the exhibition exists not only in the exhibitors but also in the audience. In the first two days of the exhibition (15th-16th), more than 120,000 professional visitors attended the exhibition, and 158,000 views were viewed on the online platform, the most in the same period of history.
Mike Laird runs a tyre and wheel business in New Zealand. He told the author that this trip to Guangrao was his first visit to China in four years. Mike Laird said that when he heard that ChinaGRTAE 2023 would be held offline this year, he immediately decided to participate. Tyrepress China learned that more than 800 overseas professional buyers from more than 50 countries and regions, including Russia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada, participated in the 2023 Guangrao tyre exhibition and conducted business negotiations.
The intensive concurrent activities also left a deep impression on Tyrepress China during the exhibition. According to the organisers, seven concurrent forum activities and several professional activities independently held by enterprises were held during the exhibition.
