E-commerce on show at Guangrao tyre exhibition
On 15 May, the 13th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition (ChinaGRTAE 2023) opens. Since it was first held in 2010, the Guangrao Tire Exhibition has held ten offline and two online exhibitions. The ChinaGRTAE 2023 is this large tyre exhibition’s first physical event since 2019.
As Tyrepress.com introduced, ChinaGRTAE 2023 will bring together many tyre manufacturers and enterprises related to the industry chain. In addition, according to the organisers, ChinaGRTAE 2023 has added an e-commerce platform display area in the exhibition hall. E-commerce companies such as Alibaba, JD.com and eBay will make their debuts to demonstrate how to combine emerging e-commerce with traditional tyre sales.
During the three-day exhibition, the Guangrao International Expo Centre, where ChinaGRTAE 2023 is located, will hold several forums to discuss the future development trend of China’s tyre industry. At the same time, the organiser will also hold activities such as industrial cooperation and exchange meetings, high-end talent fairs, and overseas promotion of tyre brands. Additionally, Huasheng Rubber will hold a new product launch conference on the spot.
According to the data given by the organisers, previous exhibitions have achieved excellent results. The 11th and 12th Guangrao Tire Exhibition were online in September 2020 and September 2021. According to statistics, the cumulative number of online viewers of the 2020 event exceeded 220,000, resulting in over 80 trade intention orders. The ChinaGRTAE 2021 has facilitated more than 90 trade intention orders, with an intention transaction amount of 2.6 billion yuan.
In the earlier offline exhibitions, the grand scale was one of the symbols of the Guangrao Tire Exhibition. Hundreds of trade intentions, agreements, and contracts are often reached during offline exhibitions, and the total value often exceeds 15 billion yuan. Taking the exhibition held in 2019 as an example, more than 120 overseas companies, including those from countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Thailand, participated. More than 100,000 professional visitors attended the Guangrao Tire Exhibition, including more than 1,600 professional buyers from more than 100 countries and regions, including the United States, Russia, Dubai, and Canada.
Tyre manufacturing is one of the pillar industries in Guangrao County. The local government attaches great importance to the 2023 exhibition. Tyrepress China learned that at the end of April, the Guangrao County Government held a meeting to mobilise the entire county to serve the Guangrao Tire Exhibition.
