Kenda appoints GB Tyres as UK distributor

GB Tyres has been appointed as exclusive distributor of the Kenda Tyres brand in the UK. The news follows a meeting between Sukhi Singh, managing director of GB Tyres and Henno Plaggenborg, director, automotive division Europe at Kenda Tyres today.

Tyres & Accessories understands that the exclusive distributorship relates to the passenger car, SUV, 4×4 and van tyre segments.

Further details relating to the distribution deal between the two parties are set to be released in the days and weeks to come. What we do know is that the Taiwan-based Kenda Tyres brand has received renewed attention recently following a strong set of Swiss Touring Club (TCS) tyre test results, something that the company puts down to “ongoing investment in its research and development centre”.
