Italmatic buys Zeiss Intact shearography business

Italmatic has announced the acquisition of the Zeiss Intact shearography business, which includes drawings, software, trademark and IP rights.
According to Dr. Massimo Ghitturi, CEO of Italmatic, this is an essential further step towards consolidating Italmatic’s status as world leader in terms of high technology and completeness of the range of reconstruction equipment and accessories.
Zeiss and Italmatic Srl have already started an intensive training and training program for Italmatic personnel to ensure the best continuity in assisting all existing customers.
Roberto Deger, CFO of ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions, expressed: “Happiness for Italmatic’s acquisition of the…shearography business and related know-how. The Italmatic experience in the construction of machinery and its technological capabilities provide the ideal conditions to successfully manage this activity and develop it further.”
