GB Tyres confirms Kenda UK distributorship

Following our report naming GB Tyres as the new distributor of Kenda tyres, GB Tyres have confirmed the appointment and added further details. GB Tyres has indeed become UK distributor of Kenda passenger car, SUV, 4×4 and van tyres and the company is said to be “looking forward to an ongoing partnership with the brand”. Specifically, GB Tyres has already accepted delivery of its first Kenda containers and a selection of the range is already available. According to officials, the range of Kenda stock available for immediate delivery will continue to grow over the coming weeks and months.

The appointment was made “following an in-depth review of its current brands and a review of the marketplace” with GB Tyres and Kenda opening discussions in early 2023. Company representatives report that “it quickly became apparent that the two organisations aligned in their ethos and their subsequent requirements for a business partner”.

Indeed, Sukhi Singh, managing director of GB Tyres, commented: “We feel the Kenda brand perfectly complements our existing product ranges. Kenda products offer excellent quality backed up with European R&D at a fantastic value premium economy price point, perfect for the UK market.”

Kenda’s history goes back to the 1960s. In 2016 Kenda established its own European Technical Centre. This has led to the development of specifically European range. GB Tyres will have exclusive access to the entire PCR, SUV, 4×4 and van tyre range in the UK. This includes UHP, HP, touring, and eco-focussed, a line-up that comprise some 700 SKUs in total.
