Zodo Tire acquires Kaixuan Rubber
Zodo Tire recently acquired Kaixuan Rubber. An employee of Zodo Tire confirmed the acquisition to Tyrepress China but did not disclose the specific amount of the transaction.
Kaixuan Rubber belonged to Yuelong Tire Group before it was acquired. According to the official website of Kaixuan Rubber, the project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan and can produce 3.6 million sets of high-performance all-steel radial tyres per year. The tyre brands owned by this all-steel radial tyre manufacturing base include Deemax, Greforce and Lanwoo.
The acquirer is Zodo Tire, a manufacturer of semi-steel radial tyres. According to the company’s publicity materials, it was able to produce 60,000 tyres daily in 2022. Brands with the Zodo stable include: Grenlander, Ilink, Fronway and Zmax. Tyrepress China learned that the Americas region is one of the main markets of this tyre company.
The former name of Zodo Tire was Longyue Rubber. In 2018, Weifang Huadong Rubber acquired Longyue Rubber and named it Zodo Tire. It is worth noting that Weifang Huadong Rubber is also a tyre manufacturer and the strategy it has adopted in recent years is that each company operates independently. Weifang Huadong Rubber, Zodo Tire and Haohua Tire belong to the same system, but they are all operated independently. Therefore, it still needs to be determined whether Kaixuan Rubber will be operated by Zodo Tire or independently after the acquisition.
