Linglong appoints Yu Hang as vice president
On 17 March, Linglong Tire announced that it hired Yu Hang as its vice president. The tyre manufacturer stated that the appointment of Yu Hang is to enhance Linglong’s brand value and competitiveness, optimise and improve its “product + service + value” system, build a world-class brand influence, and enhance Linglong’s international competitiveness.
Yu Hang’s resume shows that he joined Linglong in February 2023 as the deputy general manager. Before joining Linglong, he had worked in the tyre industry for more than 20 years, working for Michelin and Prinx Chengshan successively.
In July 2000, after completing his master’s degree in France, he joined Michelin. In the following 20 years, he was promoted several times in this tyre giant and was transferred to Michelin China in 2012. It is worth noting that Yu Hang has a close relationship with Ye Fei, the current president and CEO of Michelin China. When Yu Hang was in charge of Michelin’s OE business in the Chinese market, Ye Fei was the executive in charge of the replacement tyre business in the region.
In October 2020, Yu Hang left Michelin and came to Prinx Chengshan to be responsible for sales management and marketing.
