Ivanor: New Identity for Vianor network in Russia
With the careful rearrangement of a couple of letters, the Vianor tyre retail network gains a new identity in Russia. Nokian Tyres reports that Russia’s largest network of tyre centres will henceforth operate under the name Ivanor. The new name accompanies a change of ownership, with PJSC Tatneft acquiring a 100 per cent stake in network parent Nokian Tyres LLC (ООО Нокиан Шина). Rights to the Vianor and N-Tyre trademarks remain with Nokian Tyres.
Reporting the switch from Vianor to Ivanor, Nokian Tyres states that the new brand will continue the network’s sustainable development and draw upon the Vianor network’s years of experience and professionalism in order to offer consumers a consistently high level of service.
The Finnish tyre maker opened its first Vianor tyre service centre in Russia in 2005, and by the end of December 2022 the national network included 320 outlets. Nokian Tyres also operated the N-Tyre network in Russia, and at the end of December 2022 this included 101 outlets. According to Nokian Tyres, centres belonging to the N-Tyre network will also have the opportunity to join the Ivanor network.
