Galaxy LDSR 500 now in 23.5R25

The Galaxy LDSR 500, an all-steel radial L5 tyre for wheel loaders and dozers, is now available in size 23.5R25. Introducing this addition to the range, Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT) says the tubeless tyre is particularly developed and constructed for off-road construction and off-road surface mining operations and comes with a non-directional pattern and an extra deep tread. In conjunction with a cut-resistant compound and sidewall protector, the Galaxy LDSR 500 “provides superior strength and endurance plus excellent stability during its long, reliable and productive service life.”

According to YOHT, the “extra deep tread of the Galaxy LDSR 500 and the premium cut and chip resistant compound” ensure “excellent performance” in cut prone applications. Furthermore, operators “clearly benefit from the improved durability and the extended tyre life.” The high turn up casing construction provides “increased lateral stiffness and improved road comfort” with stability and a buttress sidewall protection to protect against sidewall cuts and damages. Last but not least, YOHT shares that LDSR 500 comes with a shoulder tie-bar that provides better lug support and hence improved lug stability.
