Bridgestone tyres for Lamborghini Revuelto

Lamborghini has once again chosen Bridgestone as exclusive tyre partner, this time for its first-ever super sports V12 HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), the Revuelto. The result of the two parties’ collaboration are bespoke tyres based upon the Bridgestone Potenza Sport. In this mixed-fitment homologation, three options are available for the front wheels, which are powered by a trio of electric motors, and three for the V12 engine-driven rear wheels.

Bridgestone says it further developed the Potenza Sport tyres to “enhance the Lamborghini Revuelto’s sporty and high-performance capabilities,” with the design and materials thus helping to “deliver outstanding performance at high speeds, excellent steering responses and precision that’s ideally suited to the Lamborghini Revuelto’s ultimate performance DNA, along with outstanding grip on dry and wet surfaces.”

Specific Potenza Sport sizes for the Lamborghini Revuelto are a mixed fitment with 265/35 ZRF20 (front) and 345/30 ZRF21 (rear) as well as 265/30 ZRF21 (front) and 355/25 ZRF22 (rear). These bespoke tyres feature Run Flat Technology (RFT) that allows 50 at 50, or 80 at 80 for those measuring post-puncture mobility in kilometres. In addition, Bridgestone has developed a performance combination of 265/35 ZR20 on the front axle and, on the rear, 345/30 ZR21 Potenza Sport tyres (tubeless version).

The Revuelto is also available with Bridgestone’s bespoke Blizzak LM005 winter option, which according to the tyre maker “provides the ideal winter solution” by “guaranteeing outstanding grip on snow while providing secure steering responsiveness and precision on dry and wet surfaces.” Blizzak LM005 tyres are available as an aftersales winter option in multiple fitments, including 265/35 R20 and 265/30 R21 for the front wheels, with 345/30 R21 and 355/25 R221 for the rear.

Complementing Revuelto’s character

We’ve also provided a winter tyre option that matches drivers’ needs, ensuring the Lamborghini Revuelto can be enjoyed in all conditions, all year round.”

Sustainable virtual tyre development

Bridgestone developed and manufactured its tyres for the Lamborghini Revuelto in Italy, with the team at the company’s European R&D Centre drawing upon virtual tyre development technology. The tyre maker says this “sustainable approach” enables a digital version of an in-development tyre to be created and tested virtually before it builds prototypes, leading to savings in raw materials and CO2 emissions during development.

Last but not least, Bridgestone comments that this partnership with Lamborghini continues its vision to “provide customer and social value as a sustainable solutions company,” adding that the Bridgestone E8 Commitment “remains at the heart of this,” with the global corporate commitment “clearly defining the value the company is promising to deliver to society, customers, and future generations in eight focus areas.” It says this project particularly aligns with “Emotion: Committed to inspiring excitement and spreading joy to the world of mobility.”
