Two new Porsches for Falken Motorsports in 2023 

Falken Motorsports is set to return to NLS and the Nürburgring 24 Hours competition in 2023 with two brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) for what promises to be another action-packed season of racing on the Nordschleife.

The all-new 911 GT3 R (992) replaces the outgoing Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) which Falken has competed with since 2018. During its stint with the 991.2, Falken has scored multiple wins and podiums on the gruelling Nürburgring Nordschleife, including two famous victories during the 2022 season at the prestigious 6-hour and 12-hour NLS endurance races.

The 2023 season will mark the 13th for Falken as a Porsche customer team. Falken’s relationship with the German marque began in 2011 and has been highly successful. In addition to achieving strong results in the NLS (formerly VLN), together at the Nürburgring 24 Hours Falken and Porsche have enjoyed multiple top 10 finishes, including fourth place overall at the 2021 edition.

While Falken has yet to take delivery of its two new 911 GT3 R (992), it already has experience running the new car. It was selected to become the first Porsche customer team globally to compete with it at NLS 8 back in October.
