Rowe launches sustainably-manufactured lubricants at Autosport
Rowe introduced its sustainably manufactured range of lubricants to the UK market at the Autosport International Show from 12-15 January. Exclusively distributed in the UK by Deutschesol Ltd, Rowe’s range of oils, lubricants and coolants is manufactured in Germany and the company has “several original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships”.
Robb Gravett, chief executive officer, said: “Autosport International provided the perfect backdrop to a very successful launch given Rowe’s affinity with motorsport, where it carries out uncompromising research and development to deliver sustainably-manufactured, high-end oils and lubricants.”
Jeremy Aston-Phillips, managing director, added: “Sustainable manufacturing is very much on everyone’s radar, and there’s significant interest in it, as it provides longevity to the ICE vehicle market and a future for more eco-friendly motorsports. Alongside its regular product range, ROWE is at the forefront of developing plant-based lubricants for a variety of applications, thus creating a future-proof solution for many applications.”
Former British Touring Car Champion Robb Gravett also spoke on the main stage across the four days of the Autosport International Show to showcase Rowe’s introduction to the UK market and talk about his career in the highest domestic level of touring car racing.
Rowe’s blending plant located in Worms, Germany, generates a significant amount of its own electricity through an extensive, 4,000m2 photovoltaic system, and transfers waste heat from its indoor manufacturing processes to be used for heating the building and offices.
