MTS named exclusive Petlas distributor
A freshly-signed agreement sees Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) become the exclusive UK distributor for Petlas passenger car, 4×4 and light truck tyres. Petlas is the third exclusive brand MTS has taken on since its acquisition by Sumitomo Rubber Industries in 2017, with Goodyear’s Fulda brand and Michelin-made Kormoran also joining the MTS portfolio of exclusive mid-range brands in the past five years.
The deal to bring in the primary brand of Turkish tyre manufacturer Petlas Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş will initially run until 2028. The new exclusive distributor views the relationship with Petlas as one that will further strengthen its offer to the MTS independent tyre dealer network by providing customers with multiple brands as well as added value through strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with stable, quality suppliers.
