Heuver expands leadership team
As of today, Laura van den Heuvel and Kasper Olimulder take over day-to-day operations at tyre wholesaler Heuver. The Hardenberg, Netherlands-based business has appointed van den Heuvel its Director Sales and Olimulder Director Operations. Both report to Heuver Group CEO Bertus Heuver and CFO Elmer Wiemer.
Announcing these managerial changes, the wholesaler explains that van den Heuvel and Olimulder are taking on their respective roles in order to implement the company’s “further internationalisation and growth” following strong growth in recent years.
Laura van den Heuvel (40) has worked at Heuver Tyres for over 14 years, starting with the business as an Aeolus sales representative in 2008 and becoming business unit manager for the brand some 18 months later. She became general sales manager of Heuver’s entire sales department in 2015. Commenting on her new role, van den Heuvel says: “I view this as appreciation and trust, and it’s a good feeling. At Heuver Tyres service, convenience and knowledge are core values. Together with our expanded sales team, in my new role I want to implement these even better to benefit our customers. It’s great to be able to take this step within this ambitious company.”
Kasper Olimulder (44) joined Heuver Tyres as logistics manager in December 2004, becoming operations manager in 2012, a role in which he took on responsibility for the company’s logistics and purchasing departments. He was promoted to operation manager in 2017, further his area of responsibility. Olimulder says he is looking forward to building on this background as director operations. “I am proud to work in this capacity for such a wonderful international family business. Here I can face the current challenges and new opportunities. Here’s to many more successful years!”
