GRI introduces 5 new Green EX sizes

Five new dimensions have joined the GRI agricultural tyre portfolio. Farmers in the UK and elsewhere will soon have an additional four Green EX RT100 sizes to choose from and one further Green EX FL800 size.

The Green EX RT100 cross-ply tractor tyre range will now be available in the 30.5L-32 size with 18 & 20 PR. As it is specialised for both on and off-road use, its optimised lug angle and distinctive self-cleaning terracing in the space between the lugs enhances the self-cleaning characteristics of the tyre in soft soil and mud. The tie bar design provides for better lug stability on hard surfaces, while its dual-angle design with steep angles at the centre provides rider comfort and better soil cleaning. The shallow angle at its shoulder gives excellent traction in the field, while its strong nylon case ensures optimum durability.

The Green EX FL800 cross-ply flotation tyre features one of the widest tread footprints in the industry and is now available in size 700/40-22.5. GRI says it added this new dimension into the portfolio in response to the “success and high market demand” of the FL 800 pattern. Explaining the specific characteristics of the FL800, GRI says the tyre’s tread design, coupled together with a multi-lug angle, delivers excellent traction on the field and provides exceptional flotation properties. Additionally, the Green EX FL800’s high centre block-to-lug ratio and wide lug width offer low soil damage and roadability, while its optimum land/sea ratio provides excellent soil cleaning properties and longer life.
