DRC a Tyrexpo first-timer
Originally created by the US military as a retreading facility, Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) claims to hold the highest market share for truck tyres within Vietnam, a country with almost 100 million people and a very active road transportation industry. The company began work to expand production capacity within its 2013-inaugurated truck and bus radial plant from 600,000 to 1 million tyres a year, growth of some 67 per cent. The company is investing VND 917 billion (£32 million) in the project, which should be completed in the second quarter of 2024.
Ha Phuoc Loc, the tyre maker’s deputy general director, states that DRC “offers almost 50 years’ valuable experience within this highly competitive industry” and currently supplies forty countries around the world. The 1975-founded, 2006-listed company is also a first-time Tyrexpo Asia exhibitor and is “enthusiastically looking forward” to introducing itself to Asian and global markets.
DRC will showcase its full range at the Singapore show. “Our main objective for exhibiting at this highly important international tyre show will be to introduce our company and promote our tyre products,” says Ha Phuoc Loc. “We will be looking forward to meeting new potential customers on our stand who are interested in a quality and trusted supplier of tyre, tube flap and technical rubber products.” The deputy general director shares that the DRC stand will feature a series of innovative new product ranges for the light truck semi radial, bicycle, motorbike, TBR and industrial market sectors.
“DRC is committed to bringing the best products and services to customers to the forefront to connect with manufacturers and consumers,” concludes Ha Phuoc Loc.
