Michelin names Dubourdeau EVP of Manufacturing
As of January 2023, Pierre-Louis Dubourdeau is Executive Vice-President of Manufacturing for the Michelin Group. In this role, Dubourdeau takes on responsibility for all Michelin factories around the world. He has also been appointed to the company’s Group Executive Committee.
Dubourdeau, a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the École des Mines in Paris, started his career in strategy and mergers & acquisitions with the TotalEnergies Group in Asia. In 2010 he took on roles at the French Ministry for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, where he directed activities with respect to the prevention of industrial and natural risks in the Paris region and then as an advisor to the Minister’s office, responsible for risks, energy and circular economy.
Joining the Michelin Group in 2015 as operation manager for the tyre maker’s Cholet site in France, Dubourdeau became commercial director for the UK and Ireland in 2018. Michelin appointed him head of the Central America region in 2020.
