Kirkby highlighting agri brands at LAMMA

After a successful return to participating in LAMMA last year, Kirkby Tyres will once again be exhibiting at the UK’s premier agricultural machinery show on 10 and 11 January at the NEC. Occupying the same 225 square metre space in Hall 9 of the National Exhibition Centre, the wholesaler is looking forward to showcasing its main and exclusive agricultural brands including Alliance, BKT, MRL and Pirelli.

Alongside a dedicated space to exhibit its range of ATV/UTV tyres from market-leading brands such as BKT and Carlisle, Kirkby will also showcase a range of Sailun truck and trailer tyres, as commonly used in both commercial and agricultural trailer applications.

“Despite the difficult economic climate, we do feel it is right to continue to support farmers and the agricultural industry in the UK, including trade-industry exhibitions, and to make this support visible through our presence at LAMMA,” states Kirkby Tyres. “Farmers are indispensable part of the supply chain, and we want to highlight our recognition for the enormous amount of work that farmers all over the country carry out day after day to maintain our food supply chain and keep our supermarket shelves stocked.”

Alliance

As exclusive importer of Alliance-branded tyres in the UK and main importer in Ireland, Kirkby says it is delighted to be showcasing the latest in tyre technology as developed by parent company Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT). It will display five applications: The recently released 590 heavy-duty radial flotation design for trailers and implements, the 585 agro-industrial radial for backhoe loaders and telehandlers (fitted as OE on Manitou telehandlers), the 550 Multiuse used in municipal applications, the 372 Agriflex+ VF radial tractor range and the flagship Agristar II for 70 and 85 series radial agricultural fitments.

BKT

As a main importer and wholesaler of BKT tyres in the UK, Kirkby is proud to continue its long cooperation with BKT and continue to bring to market world-class innovation and solutions for off-highway tyres in the agricultural segment. On display at LAMMA will be the recently introduced V-Flexa range of steel-belted radial flotation tyres for trailers and tankers, the flagship Agrimax V-Flecto range of VF tractor tyres, Ridemax FL693 M designed for trailers and implements (now available with VF technology), Agrimax Spargo VF tyres developed for row crop and sprayer application and Agrimax Sirio tyres developed for high-horse powered tractors working in tillage operations.

MRL

As exclusive importer of MRL product into the UK and Ireland, Kirkby Tyres will be exhibiting its value range of agricultural tyres, including bias and radial tractor fitments and tyres for agricultural implements. The wholesaler will introduce the new MRL MVF 600 range of high-volume VF tyres for high powered tractors, RRT 770 Farm-Maxx 70 range of radial 70 series tractor tyres, the popular FLR 333 X-Power radial flotation application for agricultural trailers, the utilitarian GT 333 Maximus designed for agro-industrial applications and the RRT 650 MEGA SOL for tankers.

Pirelli

As exclusive UK and Ireland importer of Pirelli branded agricultural tyres since the return of the Pirelli agricultural brand in 2017, Kirkby will exhibit its premium offering – part of the stable of products from the Prometeon Group. The PHP:1H will be on display in the super high-volume size 900/60R32 designed for high-powered tractors and the recently introduced IF 650/65R34 PHE:65.

Sailun

Kirkby Tyres has been importing Sailun branded TBR tyres exclusively into the UK and Ireland since 2011 and has enjoyed considerable success within both aftermarket and original equipment (OE) markets. At LAMMA the wholesaler will display four different patterns. The TUV-accredited SDR1 pattern, suitable for drive applications, the SFR1 steer position for mid-to-long distance trucks and trailers, the aggressive SDO1 for construction and logging applications, and the recently introduced 385/65R22.5 STM1 for mixed service trailer applications.
