Maxam Tire introduces another 4 AgriXtra H sizes
Maxam Tire has completed its core size range for four-wheel drive self-propelled nutrient applicators with new additions to the AgriXtra H line-up. The tyre maker says the enlarged range allows it to “further improve farmers’ and growers’ productivity for fertilising seasons to come.”
Developed specifically for combine harvesters and floaters, Maxam Tire says the AgriXtra H product family has “excellent flotation properties designed to ensure reduced soil compaction and improved traction performance.” Maxam designed the tyre to withstand heavy loads and speed, while it delivers “superior stability” thanks to its radial casing and steel belt construction. The self-cleaning, extra-wide tread design maximises performance on the road and in the field, delivering the utmost productivity to users.
Employing premium rubber compounds that reduce ozone cracking and weathering, the AgriXtra H MS951R ensures farmers or growers will “receive the value they are seeking” through improved tyre wear rates and fuel efficiency. In addition, Maxam’s 45° lug profile provides farmers with “both excellent traction and reduced slip rates” while in the field or when roading. Increasing yields through minimal soil disturbance, the AgriXtra H features a low-pressure design to ensure farmers’ and growers’ crop output is protected for years to come.
“By delivering the core market sizes for farmers and growers, Maxam is committed to simplifying the buying process as a business solutions provider. The addition of the AgriXtra H 750/50R26, and 1050/50R32 allows Maxam to complete the range of solutions for the self-propelled floater and spreader applications globally,” says Greg Gilland, vice-president of global agriculture at Maxam Tire.
In addition to the two sizes designed for Floaters and Spreaders, Maxam is also adding size 800/70R32 and 1250/50R32 tyres to enhance the wide flotation product offering for the AgriXtra H family.
