Lanxess India joins IRSG

Lanxess India Private Limited has joined the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) as an associate member. Announcing the news and welcoming Lanxess India, IRSG shared further details about Lanxess India.

Lanxess India was incorporated in India on 20 February 2004 and was formally named as Lanxess India Private Limited on 30 June 2004. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanxess Deutschland GmbH and is represented through all its 11 business units, operating out of its registered office in Thane and sales office in New Delhi with around 1000 employees across its operations.

The company runs manufacturing facilities in India for five of its business units. The manufacturing sites are located in Nagda in Madhya Pradesh and Jhagadia in Gujarat. Production facilities for business units Liquid Purification Technologies (ion exchange resins), High Performance Materials (high tech plastics), Material Protection Products (biocides) and Rhein Chemie (business line FTA and business line SRP) are operational in Jhagadia. The business unit flavours and fragrances has production facilities in Nagda.
