Banner has launched an updated version of its online battery finder portal at bannerbatteryfinder.co.uk. According to the company, updates include:
Tools such as comprehensive information relating to a battery’s exact location on the vehicle, detailed fitting instructions and battery diagnostics. In addition, it offers enhanced technical information. Full technical data is on hand in an easy-to-understand and clearly presented format.
A particularly valuable tool to the garage technician, gaining access to the additional features is a via simple Garage log in section that can be accessed from the burger menu on the portal’s home page.
Site visitors simply need to enter the relevant vehicle registration into a novel ‘number plate’ shaped window and the search facility does the rest. As well as displaying the relevant Banner battery for the vehicle in question, supplementary information is presented in the form of the relevant part number, capacity, power rating and Suggested Selling Price (SSP), inc VAT.
Commenting on the Battery Finder technical enhancements and new features, Country Manager, Lee Quinney said: “Whilst the Banner Battery Finder is widely accepted across our customer base, we are confident that the modifications that have been introduced will serve to further enhance its appeal in terms of both functionality and the information that can be sourced.
“With batteries being far more vehicle specific than ever, the importance of selecting the right battery for a particular vehicle has never been more consequential. This tool makes this process virtually fool proof, which is something you should expect from a company that stands as an OE supplier to such leading vehicle manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Skoda and VW,” he added.
