Autogem’s aftermarket report results in TPMS tune-up sessions
Autogem has completed its first report into TPMS expertise in the aftermarket and has created free ‘tune-up’ sessions in response to its findings. The 2021 and 2022 NTDA aftermarket supplier of the year is offering online tutorials devised following a data gathering exercise into technicians’ TPMS troubleshooting skills.
Autogem made the TPMS State of the Market report by compiling data from the final rounds of its TPMS Expert competition in June, which revealed some skills gaps which can now be plugged through the sessions.
The online clinics will take place on Wednesday 25 January and Wednesday 26 April both at 2:30pm. Registration is already open at www.autogem.co.uk/tpms-sales-tune-up and Autogem is inviting all i-sensor users to secure their places now.
According to the company, Autogem’s TPMS programme is already “one of the most comprehensive in the industry, with the purpose of upskilling customers, improving end-user engagement and increasing revenue streams”.
Managing director Prashant Chopra said the TPMS tune-up sessions were not only an attempt to empower customers, but a response to the ever-changing industry and the unique demands faced on a daily basis.
“We spent a great deal time undertaking our TPMS State of the Market study to understand where our customers were excelling and where they still require support. These TPMS tune-up sessions are tailored to meet their needs and plug any gaps in knowledge that they currently have.”
Prashant Chopra added: “We know that the aftermarket never stands still and we are constantly modifying and improving our own solutions to make sure we’re doing the same.
“Our TPMS tune-up sessions are one of a number of ways we engage with our customers to provide valuable insight and expertise and we hope that they prove to be of real benefit.”
