Ascenso Tyres UK renews champion clay pigeon shooter Kallum Burrell sponsorship

Ascenso Tyres UK will continue its sponsorship of champion clay pigeon shooter, Kallum Burrell. The off-the-road tyre brand will exhibit at Lamma 2023 on 10-11 January (Hall 6, Stand 6.330, Birmingham NEC) alongside its exclusive UK distributor, BAB Distribution, the wholesale arm of the BA Bush group.

Ascenso Tyres UK’s initial sponsorship of Burrell, an up-and-coming talent in the shooting world, started in 2021. He went from strength to strength over the last 12 months, qualifying for England Juniors twice, taking him to Texas and Jersey. He has also won multiple junior county titles, represented the Lincolnshire Clay Shooting team at both the East Midlands and National championships, and won the Young Farmers National high gun award.

His sponsor anticipates greater heights for Burrell’s shooting career in continuing its association, and Burrell is positive this confidence is well-placed: “Over the next 12 months I’m looking to step up my competing on the international stage and make a push for the GB team. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve this year!”

In 2023, Burrell will compete in the English Championships in May, the World Championships in July, and the British Championships in September. He will also attend qualifiers for both the England and GB teams, the dates of which are yet to be released.
