Ronal and Speedline Corse wheels exhibiting at Essen Motor Show 2022
After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Ronal Group is returning to the Essen Motor Show to present both its Ronal and Speedline Corse brands of wheels. In addition new products from these brands, visitors will see the Energy Wheel concept, the exactly meaning of which is being revealed on-show.
Specifically, the company is exhibiting the recently-launched Ronal R71 and also other products. According to the company, the R71’s multi-spoke design with high load-bearing capacity is particularly suitable for hybrid and electric vehicles. Essen will be the launch of the new Ronal R72, a 5-spoke design with an aesthetic aero ring and an innovative honeycomb structure. In each case the aluminium alloy used contains around 60 per cent recycled aluminium and around 40 per cent “low-carbon primary aluminium”.
The Ronal Group will also exhibit some wheels from its Classic Range. This includes the well-known cult design Ronal R9 in Penta style, now available with contrasting Racing gold diamond cut finish to the wheel lip.
The Speedline Corse portfolio also features a new product: The SC1 Motorismo for sporty vehicles, which is now available as an 18-inch wheel in Racing black-matt front diamond cut. This new variant of the SC1 is particularly sustainable, as more than two-thirds of the primary aluminium used in its production has been replaced with recycled material.
There is also news from the sustainability sector: The company is the first manufacturer ever to provide all aftermarket wheels with their own sustainability label which gives information about the respective use of resources during production of that wheel.
Besides that, the bio-concept car from the popular Four Motors racing team will be exhibited. The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport is equipped with lightweight components made from bio-fibre composites and carbon neutral RONAL R70-blue wheels – it is the world’s first bio-series racing car. The 425-hp bio fast car is powered by high-performance E20 fuel, gasoline which contains 20 per ecnt bioethanol derived from waste materials. The doors, rear wing and front lip are made entirely of bio-fibre composites.
The Ronal Group will be Stand E27 in Hall 7.
